Awards for AU Press books at the annual Alberta Book Publishing Awards

AU Press caused a significant buzz Friday May 8th, at the annual Alberta Book Publishing Awards gala held at the Faculty Club, University of Alberta, by taking home the award for top non-fiction book of the year, Imagining Head-Smashed-In: Aboriginal Buffalo Hunting on the Northern Plains by Jack W. Brink. We also shared the award for top scholarly and academic book with the University of Alberta Press for the co-published work, The Importance of Being Monogamous by Sarah Carter.
