AU Press honoured with two awards at 2022 Alberta Book Publishing Awards

The 2022 Alberta Book Publishing Awards were celebrated on Friday, 16 September 2022 at the Hotel Arts in Calgary. Publishers, writers, and friends of the industry gathered to recognize the important work being done in Alberta’s book publishing community. AU Press was honoured to receive two awards for our work.

Regime of Obstruction: How Corporate Power Blocks Energy Democracy edited William K. Carroll won Scholarly and Academic Book of the Year.

Bucking Conservatism: Alternative Stories of Alberta from the 1960s and 1970s edited by Leon Crane Bear, Larry Hannant, and Karissa Robyn Patton won Regional Book of the Year.
