This website collects personal information pursuant to section 4(c) of Alberta’s Protection of Privacy Act (POPA) through the user’s action of joining our mailing list and/or creating an account on our reading platform. The personal information being collected is limited to email address and first and last name. Any personal information provided will be used only for the purposes for which it was collected and will not be made publicly available or shared with a third party.
Correction or Deletion of Information
The data in user accounts can be deleted upon request. We may request identification before acting on such requests. Upon receiving a written request for removal of personal information in the user account, we will endeavour to fulfill your request.
As administrators and owners of this website we have the ability to monitor user activity and accounts. We reserve the right to remove annotations and user accounts at our discretion.
Analytics
Our online reading platform records registration and last login dates, and records user activity when logged in to a personal account. This information is used for statistical purposes.
