About the Author

Chantal Allan is an award-winning journalist who has reported for CBC Radio and NPR (National Public Radio). Her articles have appeared in the Toronto Star, Los Angeles Daily News, and other publications. She received her master of arts in journalism from the University of Southern California and now lives in Los Angeles.
